Episode 81 pt1,The Jackson Hole WY Reef Tank, LA Fishguys

Lets go to Wyoming in the eighty first episode of LA Fishguys as Jim Stime of Aquarium Design in Thousand Oaks CALIF., starts operation of a 280 gallon coral reef tank and then adds 500 pounds of live rock to it.

    who in their right minds would keep such a nice tank in a GARAGE! not to mention they hire a great guy to drive from LA to go to wyoming for a tank in a garage. wtf?

    hey 2, i would continue to do research if its a reef you want, as there are many opinions. i would think seriously about starting out with a fish only and get comfortable with SW before jumping into a reef tank.

    hey B, i have heard of solutions to prevent hitch hikers but have not used them myself. a good visual inspection is the better starting point, no need to stress the coral if not needed.

    Hey jim,
    Love your show, l’m about to convert my 210 freshwater tank to a reef tank. haven’t bought anything for it yet because l don’t want to wast any money buying things twice. Any ideas as far as sump, skimer, pump and wet/dry or not?

    It’s very irritating with the flashing green squares. I use a 32″ monitor on my laptop and it is very difficult to watch on YouTube. Hope you can fix this!

    HEY i have a 90 gallon reef tank that is ready for fish tand corals and has cycles, i am going to buy some fish tand corals from my friends dad that has a hugeee wholsale for fish and corals , so i am wondering if there is any method to take to prevent death or hithhikers in my tank.should i do a freash water dip? are there any thigs i could buy the kill the hithhikers on the rocks that the corals are on? please hellp me !!!!!
