I will try to find the link but I’ve read these amounts of radiation:
Chest x-ray = 10 milli rem (and they hide behind walls with lead vests on…)
CAT scan = 1000 – 2000 milli rem
Airport scanner = 10,000+ milli rem (they claim .005 milli rem..lol)
Now two things to point out!
1) The gov says we should not exceed 25 milli rems per YEAR.
2) Airport scanners scan people that are moving, and at a fast pace…but that means they need more x-rays, thats more energy and more milli rem

Look at CAT scans, they make you lay on your back for 10min-30min perfectly still. So airport scanners have to hit a standing person with enough x-ray’s, all at once, for the snapshot.
