Large Fancy Goldfish Aquarium 60 gal. W/ Ryukins Oranda and Black Moor
This is a short clip of my goldfish aquarium. All of the Goldfish are less than 1 year old. Phantom, the Red and White-faced Ryukin is only about 8 months old 4″ long and has a lip deformity. He is still growing like a weed, despite his handicap! Pearl is the white ryukin with red tips, Tyrese is the Moor (he’s a big bully), Sharky is the fantail Nmyph (missing a front fin from birth I believe), Monstro -the Blue Oranda and Spittle, the Calico Ryukin. Also are 2 Weather Loaches, a Mystery Snail, several Ghost Shrimp and a few freshwater clams. Live plants are Hornwort (OMG it grows so fast!!!), Kyoto Grass, Purple Rotala and white swords. @Evillyn12 : I don’t know – I just followed directions and didn’t overstock – I haven’t had an algae problem since starting the tank a year ago. Live plants help – and keeping a nice blance of life/plants/filters (clams, snails).

I have one Calico Ryukin Goldfish and after barely a few months it is beginning to swim rather oddly and has what look like white spots on it’s skin. We put it into a 1.77 gal aquarium (with the filter that came with it) and used the water treatment that came with the set up so we don’t know whats wrong with the goldfish. Is it dying? And is there anything we can do to prevent it from dying if it is dying? Help! New goldfish owners here.

everyone should have at least some kind of fish because they r lovely things to look at and that they remind me of mermaids i dont have an aquaium but i have those big round bowls and i have one boy and one girl and hopefully the girl will be pregnant!

LOVE it! i think goldfish are fun to have, why do so many people just refer to them as other fishes food?

dude how did u get them that big?
i have 3 small fantails in a 30 long, one oranda, one ryunkin, and one regular fantail
