What do you clean your fish tank plants with?

I have a couple of fake plants in my fish tank. I notice they get quite dirty, easily. What would be the best, non-toxic product to clean them with? I’ve used soapy water and rinsed them but it still doesn’t seem to clean them up.

the only way i manage to get them a little cleaner is to leave them to soak in a kettle hot water then wipe them off

    it does pretty good.

if you have an algae eater and its not cleaning the algae off of your fake plant i suggest you get another one just a plain cheap algae eater nothing fancy and there like $5 and if you don’t want to get another algae eater just put it under running water and scrub

All that I do is rinse them off with water.

DON’T use soap. It will kill the fish. I would just get a better filter or rinse with warm/hot water.
